I'm selling the lift, tires and wheels off of my '85 M1008. The reason I'm selling is that I bought another truck to use as a farm truck and I want to run larger tires on the CUCV. The suspension is less than 2 months old and might have 1,000 miles on it. The tires were bought used from a surplus dealer in Anniston, AL and mounted on the factory CUCV wheels. They have 60-70% tread with no dry rot on the sidewalls. Here's a breakdown of what's for sale:
2 Front 4" lift Procomp springs and 2 Procomp ES3000 shocks for 4-6" lift.
2 Rear 56" long, 4" lift Procomp springs and Gabriel shocks for 4-6" lift.
5 11.00R16 Michelin XLs mounted on 16x6.5 (8 on 6.5 bolt pattern) factory
CUCV steel wheels. Tires are 37 3/4" tall with 30 psi mounted on the
6000 lb truck and about 11" wide. They are load range E tires (3450
lbs per tire @ 80 psi) and since they're radials, they ride nice and
smooth with no flat spotting.

I'm willing to separate the tires and wheels as well as the suspension. I'd like to get $900 for the complete setup. Since shipping would hurt this deal, I'm willing to meet partway...within reason...but pickup would be best. I'm in Carrollton, GA which is about 50 miles west of Atlanta and just south of I-20.[/U][/I]

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. They are not 16.5's. Both M1008's I have bought came with 16" diameter, 6.5" wide, 8 lug steel wheels with a "J" type bead. Also, are you asking if I would sell just the tires and wheels, or just the tires? If I don't get anyone interested in a more complete sale, I'll separate pretty much whatever and sell it individually.

wondering, i had a trade idea for the whole set up but i think it will hang on one point.

these are one ton springs right? so the widths would be different than my 3/4 ton burb wont they?

It's like a woman and buying things on sale... (heard this from a comic)
You can be broke, but as long as you bought it all ON SALE, you'll be ahead hundreds!
