4" Lift kits

4\" Lift kits

I was looking at the BDS suspension site and for the 69-72 Jimmy, 4" lift kits, they list a transfer case drop bracket. Is this neccesary for a 4" lift? I have a '72 with a 350/350/205. Any insight would be appreciated

You shouldn't need one for a 4" lift. I have one for my 8" lift and was thinking about taking it out when I get a new front driveline. IMO it doens't decrease the driveline angles enough to be worth it.

Just steering correction needed for up to 6". I've gone as high as 8" without dropping the t-case. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
