Alright well right now i have a 4" lift, i am going to a 5.5-6" lift, will I need new shocks? the ones that work w/ a 4" lift wont work with a 5.5-6" right?

It's a big iffy, unbolt shock and let it extend all the way, if it makes it 2 extra inches but fully extended goes 3" past your shock mount....get new ones.
