Stephen have you considered putting together a 4-Link kit with all the components to mount it.

I have purchased several of your products and have been extremly happy with the quality.:bow:

I have been looking for a 4-link kit with all the links, mounts, brackets, Installation instructions, ect...
so that it could be mounted with minimal trail and error.:doah: hahaha

I realize that there is moderate to major (depending on experience), fabrication involved such as welding, measuring and cutting, but with all the components needed for such a project in one kit already measured out for a K-5 it would be so much easier to do.

I see kits all the time for broncos and heeps but can't seem to find one for the beloved K-5 community.:confused:

Would this be a possibility, if so I would defiantly be interested?

I am in Iraq right now but when I return I would be interested in purchasing something along these lines if possible.

Does stephen or ORD look at these post anymore?

I wish I could get some kind of response, I would be interested in a product like this.

If ORD doesn't do anything like this does anyone know of anybody that does have a 4 link kit?
 
I have most of the ORD rear 4-link kit on my K5, with some of it custom, I know their busy getting ready for EJS.

Everytime That I call him He's allways getting ready for something so I gave up waiting for his 4 link kit. Just decided to do it myself.
Steve is a great guy though, I have bought many parts from him.
 
The 4 link rear kit is a complete weld on kit and will run ***about*** $3200. That comes with 2.5" x 16" fox or king coilovers and the bracketry.

This is the same suspension that is under Wally, My buggy, The UAV, and one local guys power wagon, and I think a guy in Hawaii has one as well.

Everybody seems to like it a bunch. It is not your average everyday install as you might guess but you get everything you need to do it and Stephen can coach you through it.

Lift is sorta up to you. It matters how high you mount the top of the shocks. Keep in mind that 16" of wheel travel needs some lift but I think you could get it as low as 4"-5" with some work.

Petersons tried the kit on the Blazer that Jerod Jones took to UA. Parts of it would have worked parts didn't. Talk to Stephen when he is back for further info. It would be custom but is possible.

I am collecting parts for a 4 link rear and I will be building the whole thing for about 2 grand.
 
Do it yourself is typically cheaper but make sure you compare apples and apples. Just doing some quick math on the coilovers (2.5 x 16s), heims (1 x 1.25 lower on both ends and 3/4 x 7/8 uppers on both ends) with weld in inserts, 2 x .250 tubes, limit straps, bump stops, bolts, spacers, etc comes up over that $2K mark and you have yet to laser cut any tabs. You can build cheaper arms by bushing one end but then you're fighting bushing life and bushing compliance along with more difficult alignment. So it goes with every component. It can even be effective with cheaper parts but when you figure in all the factors, as always, you're typically best off buying the best parts.

We're really not looking to sell a kit like this to a total do it yourselfer, it's really set up for a guy that has some welding and fab skills but doesn't want to source all the parts different places and figure out the placement on his own.
