Hi there, new to the forum and beginning my project of a 72 K5. I am looking for an aftermarket place to purchase a 4 point roll bar. Looking for the "hickey" style that I have seen online. Ideally want one that is already welded. Any places to start or ideas? Thanks in advance

I don't think you'll find any that are already welded, shipping would be miserable. Hickey has been out of business for many, many years so anything of theirs will be used. Hickey was recently restarted but I read the (new) owner was killed in an auto accident last month so who knows the fate of the new company. I do know that the new company had not progressed to the level of cage kits yet so if there's something special about their old kits you may want to post a pic of what you are looking for.

diy4x.com offers prebent and notched kits for 73+ trucks, not sure about 1st gens. You'd have to call and ask.

There are other companies that offer kits but some use inferior methods to bend the tube so be very careful about what you may buy.

Wow, lots of good info there, really appreciate it. I’ll keep poking around and see what I find. Thanks
