Posting for a friend most of you would recognize.

Professionally built with some of the best parts money can buy. Finished in 2010-2011 timeframe. Friend has too many rigs and hardly gets this one out anymore and just wants the extra space. Priced to move at $15k. If I wasn't carrying two mortgages right now this would have never made it past me!

Has an LS1, 4L60E, Atlas case, Spidertrax housings, True hi9 thirds w/ ARBs, 14" coilovers, 42" Pitbull Rockers, etc. Powdercoat of chassis alone is in the $7k value ballpark. This is one of those deals where you simply can't list everything, there's just too much. Much much more than asking price in build sheet.

Is there a link to a more detailed for sale ad? That picture is both very flattering for the cage design.

He doesn't really post for sale stuff himself to avoid the hassle, just tells people he knows he is getting rid of something.

I don't think he ever did a full blown write up of the build but here is an article on the powdercoating and an episode of Xtreme 4x4 that has the rolling chassis in it. I really like the design overall as it's high clearance, high visibility, low center of gravity, & different looking. Has all the bells and whistles you'd expect a top of the line crawler to have. This was built before rock bouncing and Ultra4 really started shifting build design more to accommodating high wheel speed and big impact.

a little of both. right now I have 5 buggies and sure don't need 6 but if I had a higher quality buggy I could always sell off some others

He confirmed he never did a full write up anywhere. This was his own personal build he worked on at home. He is going to get more pics to me that I'll post here. If you like those and are serious about moving forward I can see about putting you in contact with him, just don't want to waste his time, he's got a lot going on right now with his own production company, film studio, and new shows.

Any idea how tall he is? Looks like there is a harness bar behind the rear seat, so I assume it can't be slid back at all. I'm 6'6", so being able to actually fit in this thing is of concern.

He's on the shorter side, think like 5'8". I'm 6'1" and he said it would be tight for me as far as pedal placement but I like to sit closer than most anyway. At 6'6" I think you'd be reworking some tube

More pics, checked it out in person and it definitely needs a little TLC to be what it once was but overall it's in decent condition. Truthfully, build quality on the chassis isn't show stopper level but it'll hold together. The powdercoat job is pretty amazing, ghosted graphics all over the place and engraved aluminum links are a nice touch. Buyer should be 5'10" or shorter unless you are willing to rework some tube and that would be a shame IMO because you'll never match the powdercoat job again. Rear seat area is actually pretty spacious, maybe as much or more room than front seat area. Axles are 5.38 and Atlas is 5.0 gear ratio. With a little bit of love this would easily return to it's former glory and be quite the head turner.

Engine and trans are gone at this point and the rest was getting parted out as well. Not sure what else is spoken for currently but it's got some killer parts if anyone is interested.
