well my brother has a 4speed that is just flat out worn out...popping out of 3rd very sloppy, he wants to convert it to automatic we have a th400 sitting in the shop with a 208 that needs a rebuild or he has a buddys dad that has a built 700r4/208 in a suburban that was in a suburban that he wrecked. he wants $600 for it. he is really wanting the overdrive, but isnt there a computer that has to be hooked up for the 700r4 to work right? they already trashed the suburban so we cant go pull crap off it. what all is involved in getting the 700r4 to function properly in his truck? we already have the colum and pedals and linkages so we are not worried about that stuff
