I picked up a newer style wheel out of a early 90s truck.I only pulled the wheel and thin plate behind it should I have gone further down to make it work on my 91 cc? thanks scott

All you need is the steering wheel. Should bolt right up.

You might need the horn wire from the 4 spoke

This I have but the horn setup looks different but I only just pulled the button off the old wheel. Guess I ll have to dig deeper.
Once you pull the wheel off the columns should look the same save for the horn wire

OK thanks,will I be able to salvage the horn function?
Yep, you'll need the horn wire. I have swapped that style steering wheel into probably 10+ of these trucks.

Whenever I go to Burbank I take a ride to the pic a part there. Man you guys are lucky! scored this for 14 bucks couldn't say no. I have bought home some stupid stuff on the plane! The crew just looks at me and wonders!
