4 Wheel Parts Bait&Switch..BEWARE!

Sorry but there is no way I will spend money with your company in the future. I will stick with Summit Racing where I am never ripped off and it doesnt matter who I know. The parts are here in two days and they come with a return tag in case you dont like them. No bait and Switch no tire crating charges(wtf is that?)and dynamite prices. The same can be said about Tire Rack.com...Simply fantastic online service. Oh thank Alan at 4WP for this thread and many matching others. How can you call someone after you charge their credit card and send a confirming order email and try to bump the price?...I would rather wrap the rims with electrical tape than buy from 4WP.

My drag link came this afternoon, but the tires and steering stabilizer I bought last Saturday have still not been shipped out. One of the sales reps said that they where having a question on my stabilizer because they where not familiar with what a 1991 Chevrolet V-3500 Truck is, and they where not sure weather the stabilizer I ordered was the correct one. I explained to them that my truck had a Dana 60 straight front axle and not an IFS suspension.

I am kind of new here to this board. Is it my understanding that poster Keith works for 4WPW? If you want to help me out I can PM you my Order ID numbers, and you can look into it for me?

yeah 4WPW thought that my 90' sub was and IFS too. anyways keith with the warranty how much of the precentage do you have to pay to get a new tire?

You pay nothing until you get to 50 % tread on thr tire then it is pro rated. Side wall cuts or anything. I have seen my manager warrenty all kinds of stuff. You just got the wrong person. Who knows

I can't believe you guys bitch and moan when I have made several posts saying I would try to help out every chance I get. Why didn't you call me anyway /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif I work on commision. Plus I am here most any evening and can answer most questions

I hate to say it Keith, but I think you're an oddball. There don't seem to be many people working at 4WP like you. I mean, you just don't seem to fit the 4WP employee norm. I'm actually kind of surprised they haven't chased you away yet because you're just too good to be working there. Who knows, maybe it's just that Norcross store that has really good people working for it?

I can vouch for the internet/mail order people being a pain. I called them up last Friday and asked them if the 10% off applied to non-internet orders and the guy first didn't even know what I was talking about and then said it only applied to internet orders. I don't know if it's true or not about the sale. That's why I didn't give you a jingle (it was creeping up on 6pm EDT anyway). Plus I didn't order until Sunday night since I knew I had to buy it off the internet.

As for the rest of you people... give Keith a try if you've been disappointed with 4WP by ordering by telephone or the internet. He was very good to me. He even put up with my pestering about where my winch was and it turned out that when a piece of freight changes carriers several times they're never in a hurry to deliver it anywhere. I guess that's a side-effect of living in BFE. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

Hey keith, met a freind of yours this week at the Duluth store. He told me that you were on here and told me to drop you a line. Sorry for the off topic post,, no PMs for me.

BTW, keith may not be the only good feller working there {actually never met keith}. There is a feller at the Duluth Ga. store that "so far" has treated me pretty good and is pretty knowlegeable on the stuff I have/need. Heck he even opened back up the store so I could pick up my tires when I was nearly a hour late once. Sorry I can remember his name right now but I would recommend the Duluth store at least.

Most of the time, I get free shipping too.

Sled, you are right about me having a place to complain. I know our store has ben in Austin for at least 8 years. They have a knowledable staff but I don't have a clue about their in house mechanics (installation tech's /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif).

Last year before I was reading these posts I made the mistake of ordering the skyjacker 6" Front suspention 8" Rear /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Well after 4 Months and many phone calls I was told it was skyjackers fault and the parts would not be available for "Maybe"!! 60 days but for a few bucks less we have a Superlift set up in stock so thats what i got. It seems pretty stiff but I guess we will see. I will Never do Buiness with 4WP again!! /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
