I posted this in the "other vehicles" forum, but there is more traffic here, and since its kind of time restricted I figured I would post again for more eyes to see. A buddy of mine has a 2003 Honda 400ex that is box stock with less than 75 hours on it. Just had a new battery (from sitting) installed and all the fluids and filters changed. He's asking $3000 for it. Good deal?

yea thats a good deal, i sold my 2002 400ex with about a million hours on it, it had a pipe, k&n, and some other stuff for 2000 and it was beat to crap.

3000, is about what they go for here (in oregon) but I have noticed most places in the midwest and further east sell for ALOT cheaper...so its a descent deal I'd say...probably look around a lil more and compare /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Thanks guys! I know the guy and he is kind of hurting for cash to fix his 2001 SS Camaro, so it doesn't hurt my feelings to pay a couple 100 more, but that seems to be the going rate here anyhow. I checked a couple of places and asked around and a similar quad was going from $2800 - $3500. Thanks again for the input!
