I want to upgrade my tires from the current 38x13R16 TSL' that I am running now. Does anyone have the 40" LTB' yet? If so, how do you like them? Are they as large as there advertised size? Anyone have pictures them on their rig? Thanks for any input!

Interesting, that's my current plan too. Running 38x13r16 TSL's and planning to go to 40" LTB's in the future. So I'm interested in some feedback too. :D

I should hopefully as soon as I close on my house and get my tax returns :D

Search around over on Pirate4x4. They say a lot of good things about the tires and there are some good pics too. The specs for the tire are on Interco's site. IIRC they are real close to 40".

I did some searching over on Pirate. Sounds like everyone likes them alot, they actually measure a full 40" on the truck (or at least very close). They are actually skinnier then advertised it sounds like, which I dont mind, im not a big fan of really wide tires.

Also read lots of good things about the pitbull rockers, which are another option im looking at. I would get the 42's if I go with the PBR's, just a little nervous about being able to clear them with the about 5" of lift that im running? Im not affraid to cut metal, just wondering if there is enough there to cut:doah:?

Aren't the Pit Bulls really wide? It's been a while since I looked at their selection, though.

I am also considering the LTB's if I stay with a 40", I was also looking at the PBR's but in the 42's IIRC the 42's are 15" wide where as the 39" are 16.5" wide on the pittbulls. Also I really like the 42" TSL SX2's they are just a bada** looking tire.

The 39.5 are really wide, the 42" PBR's are actually a little skinnier than the 42" TSL's by the looks of it. If you go on Pirate, billavista (?) did a pretty in-depth reveiw of them, with very good results!

I have been wanting 42's for a long time, and even though the 40" LTB's are very close in size, would be easier to stuff, cheaper, and probably make more sense as a whole. I just dont think I will ever be fully satisfied till I get 42's:(.
I wish I could see them side by side, and be able to just bolt them onto my truck. But that would probably be next to imposible to line up, so I guess ill just have to go for it. Guess my tax return is already spoken for! lol.
