40" Tires Requirements

Not a troll. Dude is from overseas and logistically challenged. I also don’t think English is his first language.

But yes, all this can be found in the build threads.

I am considering starting a build consulting biz where I don’t do the build but rather make sure all the right parts are used the first time

Wait...is that real? How much are you going to charge? I’m interested in being a partner :D

K30 trucks with single rear wheels would be the target truck. Ideally, you'd get both from the same truck so the gear ratios match. A K30 14b will not just bolt into a Blazer/Jimmy since the shock mounting and axle perches are not in the same spot.

I'd pass on one with dual rears because both will require to be converted to SRW spec and that's going to add more cost to the upgrade that isn't needed if you just buy the right axles.

k20 or 3/4 ton burbs with a full float would be the target rig to pull a rear axle from.

Also, I’m not sure why some of these posts are less than inclusive.

Many of us came to CK5 to learn with dreams in our heads.

Less than inclusive? I think we've all tried to help this guy. Nobody went full pirate on him. Yes after the third of fourth time somebody gives him an answer to the same question it gets a little old. But suggesting to search on the subjects in question isn't a bad thing. Nor is it not being inclusive. We all know there is a great wealth of information right inside these forums that could give him all the info he wants if goes and looks for it.

When it appears he hasn't read the replies in this thread...the ones that answered his questions, and it happens again and again, patience wears quite thin.

It's got nothing to do with inclusive, or what your first language is, or if you're just coming here to day dream.

a saw zaw and a BFH is really the only thing you'll "need" to run 40's.
Your to nice.
All you need is a credit card to buy them and slap them on. Let them self clearance. :D

A consulting business to tell people what they should buy for their shit. Who the hell knew that everyone on the internet ever should have been being paid! :haha:

If you’re not interested in being patient or answering the questions, then maybe you should move on to another thread.

Instead, you’re telling a newcomer to leave ck5.

Actually I thought @ZooMad75 hit the nail on the head

I don’t see the inclusive part being the issue, plenty of other n00bs have asked lots of questions, but also make a lot of effort

but reading the build threads is an “involvement” on a ton of time that’s been invested by almost every member on this board

disregarding the links to the answers implied it wasn’t going to be mutually inclusive

His location was listed as FL.. Not sure, but the last time I was down there that place was billiard table flat. Probably more apt to be mudding or mall crawling. Not sure how much rock usage you see down there. Could be wrong though.
