I am looking for a 400 tranny that would hook up to a NP 203 transfer case off of a thm350. If posible i would like it in a BOPC bolt pattern. i am going to use it behind a 472 caddy engine

Any BOP tranny will require you to swap out the output shaft from a Chevy 4x4 TH400. You might as well buy a rebuildable core and have it rebuilt while it is torn down. I have a core TH400 with the BOP pattern I would sell for $50.

Other items you will need:
Chevy TH400 4x4 output shaft for NP203
Chevy TH400 to NP203 adapter
32 spline NP203 input (does not require any modification of your case, just swap out the 27 spline input you currently have)

Oh, I'll be passing thru Chicago area July 9th too. I'd say add $25 to help with gas would be good for me /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Another option would be to sell you a rebuilt TH400 with converter with less than 500 miles on it (also BOP pattern) that I have behind my 455. I just called a local tranny shop that has been very good to me in the past to see if they have an output shaft. I'll sell you this rebuilt tranny for $200 plus the price of the shaft and installation. Just waiting for a call back with a price for the shaft and install.

$245 for the shaft and installation at the best tranny shop in town here or they will sell me the shaft by itself for $50.

So $445 for a rebuilt BOP TH400 with the correct output shaft installed or $50 for a core and $50 for the output shaft and you rebuild it yourself /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
