400sb in 1972 K5?

Did th e 400sb come in a K5 stock? The previous owner thought it was a 350, after looking at it, I noticed it was a 400. Any info?

Looks like the 400sb was available from '75 - '80. The specs site has some other great info about the stock models as well;)

The "400" in those years would be the 402 BB ... so no, it's not stock. As others have pointed out, the 400sb didn't happen for a few years.

On top of that, the 402 only came in 2wd's. But trucks with it did have an 8-400 fender emblem. good one, GM :doah:
