400sb in 1972 K5?

Did th e 400sb come in a K5 stock? The previous owner thought it was a 350, after looking at it, I noticed it was a 400. Any info?

Looks like the 400sb was available from '75 - '80. The specs site has some other great info about the stock models as well

The "400" in those years would be the 402 BB ... so no, it's not stock. As others have pointed out, the 400sb didn't happen for a few years.

On top of that, the 402 only came in 2wd's. But trucks with it did have an 8-400 fender emblem. good one, GM
