But you can look on the outside edge pf the ring gear and there will be a series of numbers, look for your 41 and another number after that such as 10 for an example, divide those 2 and you have your ratio.

The last 4 digits are the build date (Nov 1985 in this case), the 41 is ring gear, the 10 is pinion. Sept (09) Oct (10) and Nov (11) seemed to be popular months for diff building so the build month often gets confused for pinion gear count.
