427or 366 tall block engine swap???? Anyone done one

I was wondering if anyone has swapped a 366 or 427 tall block heavy truck motor into a 80 to 87 chevy 1/2 or 3/4 ton, if so any problems encountered during swap??? Would love to know if possible, Friend has a motor that has 5,000 miles on it and would love to put it in. I know they are torque engines so it would be a good motor.
