44 10 bolt question

Can the gears and axles from a 44 be put into a 10 bolt housing? Cracked my 44 housing and I have a 10 bolt but it has the wrong gears. The 10 bolt that I have is also the 8.5" ring gear.

I think the only similiar parts are the outers. inners are all different.

Yeah thats kinda what I thought, but wanted to check and see what someone else thought.

Yep, only the outers are interchangeable.
