Help! Front end vibration that increases upon acceleration. I changed the harmonic balancer and motor mounts. Any suggestions?

Front U-joint? CV joint? Loose bearings? Does it feel like it's engine or suspension related? It could be something as simple as a loose accessory bracket, too. It could also be a bad tire.......Do you have any more info?

Do you have automatic hubs? I had a vibration from the front of my 89. Also had clicks and clunks. Got rid of the auto hubs. Put in manuals. And presto chango no more vibration or noise. Seems I had one hub that would engage and disengage whenever it felt like it.

IF THE VIBRATION IS ON ACCEL. ONLY YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK TO SEE IF YOU ARE MISSING TEETH ON YOUR REAR DIFFERENTIAL. AFTER CHECKING YOUR U-JOINTS. HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON AN 85. tire balance really has nothing to do with it . tire balance is mostly for speeds over 35 mph.

I had a 79 Chevy pickup once that vibrated bad at higher speeds, I found out it was a front seal that was bad for quite some time so crud was getting in there and my short shaft in the axle had a big worn groove in it. I replaced it along with new bearings, races and seals and I could fly without vibration ever again!
