454/475 Combo

I have the opportunity to pick up a spun bearing 454 and a Turbo 475 (I think that's right) combo out of an RV really cheap. I know about the 454 but the 475 I don't know much about. I understand it has straight cut gears and is stronger than a TH400.

Any words of wisdom? caution? advice?

Good tranny. Yes, it has straight cut gears which will also be noisier, too. Not much bad to say about the 475.
