Just curious... is the clutch for the 454 flywheel setup a different size or part number than the one for the 350 flywheel setup? My friend has a new 350 clutch for a 420 tranny, and he says its 11 3/4 " across the disc, which is the same size as the one I need for the 454/ 465 setup.
The clutch in my SB/ 465 is nearly new, so if I can reuse it in with the BB 454/ 465, that would save me some $$.
Thanks
Mike

Just an example:

LUK ProGold 04-902 and LUK RepSet 04-064

are both 11-3/4" (though I think my ProGold measured like 11-7/8") clutched and work for both SBC's and BBC's ASSUMING YOU HAVE THE LARGER (168-tooth) FLYWHEEL

The flywheel itself is different(externally balanced on a 454 only)but the clucth should be the same.I bolted a 12 inch diaphram type clutch from my 350 to a 454 with no trouble. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Very cool... I finally found a 454 flywheel and its here, but like I said, my current clutch is pretty new, so reusing it is perfect!
Thanks
