454 HEADERS for '92 engine into '86 Sub

454 HEADERS for \'92 engine into \'86 Sub

Are there any after market headers that will fit with a '92 454 dropped into a '86 Suburban. Will it work to just order them for a '86 as the 3/4 ton had the option for a 454? This is a 1/2 ton sub. I have the 4 inch lift and plan to install missouri offroad's crossmember. I plan to do this when I swap it in for my 350.

Should be able to find something from here Thorley headers I think their #304Y headers might do the trick.

I contacted them directly and they said that none would fit. Isn't the block the same on all 454's? Thanks, Highjaxx

Part #THY-304Y are for 73-87 366-502 Pickup, Suburban, Blazer, Jimmy. 4WD. All 454's use the same exhaust bolt pattern and these headers should bolt right up. Call them back and ask them what does the 304Y fit then? I'm planning on using them in me K5 with the 427 I have in it, same exhaust bolt pattern as 454's. I'm presently using a set of stainless steel GM's from a motorhome BBC P32 chassis.
