454 hp rating

ok guys ive decided to go with a big block 454 and i need some advice.
im looking to build a mild 454 from 400-500 hp on pump gas and reliable.
any advice on what parts you guys used and actual dyno proven power specs wil very helpful

not bein a d!ck but lots of fresh stuff these days thats all the same question as whats fresh.

Me too, and gotta be closer to $2K for 560 hp if you skip the drugs. I'm gonna try to copy that build I think. i have a good condition '90 4 bolt main truck 454 in my garage right now...pretty much identical to what they started with.

Might go a touch milder on the cam, and run a JET Q-jet though.

yea im lookin to get hopefully a 98 or 99 vortec 454 from a local pull a part and try to squeeze about 450 to 500hp out of it for a low budget maybe 3k, but thats a total rebuild and some head work.
