454 intake manifold

any one used the professional products intake manifold. They are alot less expensive than edelbrock. I was taking my 454 down the other night and think I am going to replace the cam, just seems stupid to replace the cam run headers and not run an intake manifold.

Just wondering if anyone had good luck with them or not

They have a good reputation according to my engine builder. Just be sure to match your manifold to the cam type. They Cyclone or Crosswind look good for a BBC unless you are running a very high RPM cam for pulling, etc.

well I just scored a edelbrock preformer for 75 bucks so thats what I will be going with.

Is that the oval port? I got one, but the runners seem small. I thought a rpm air gap would have been a better choice, as the ports are closer to the large oval port shape.
