***SOLD***

I'm selling the engine and efi currently in the crew cab so that I can put a GenVI 454 in its place. I also have it listed on Marketplace and CL, but I thought I would put it here just in case anyone here has a need for it.

Mark IV 454 engine pulled from 1985 K30 in 2016 and installed in my 89 crew cab. Previous owner purchased engine from Jasper. Not sure how many miles he put on it, but not many. Pictures of lifter valley shortly after I purchased it; inside of block was very clean.

I have put nearly 20,000 miles on the engine. Yearly oil change with Amsoil products and Wix filters. Does not smoke and runs strong.

Before installing the engine I repainted the block orange and installed the following:
• Weiand Street Warrior intake 8122WND
• Cloyes Heavy-Duty Timing Sets C-3024X
• EMP Stewart Stage 2 high volume water pump 21113
• Milodon Windage tray 32200
• Moroso 5qt oil pan 20449
• Melling M-77 oil pump
• Melling Heavy-Duty Intermediate Driveshaft IS-77
• 8.0mm Red Hot Pow'r Wires 555-40200
• Cast aluminum stock height valve covers
• Fel-Pro gaskets for items above
• Powermaster Powermax PLUS Starter 713-9100

The Holley Sniper was purchased in 2017 and it has been run on this engine for the past 6 years. In October this year, a fault developed in 1 injector. The throttle body was sent in to Holley and they replaced the ECU.

The ignition system is managed by the Sniper efi with the following ignition components:
• Holley Dual-Sync Distributor 565-200BK
• Hyperspark Ignition Box 556-151
• Holley Sniper Hyperspark Coil 556-152

The only other addition not already mentioned is a Wilson Manifolds Tapered Carburetor Spacer 004110.

The accessory brackets will be included but not the accessories themselves.

As of 12/3, the engine is still running in the truck as shown in video. I will be removing it soon or when it sells if that happens first.

***SOLD*** $1,500

Not included:
Alternator
Power steering pump & reservoir
Headers (can be purchased additional $400)
Fuel system
Digital dash
Add-on TPS sensor for trans controller

Probably interested... I just want to verify though, this does come with the sniper throttle body as well (didn't see it listed)?

Yes it does. I'm thinking I may go ahead and pull it out of the truck this coming weekend since I don't have anything else going that weekend.

Cool, I'll think about it a bit more... but if I do grab it, I probably won't be able to pick it up until around the holidays (the week of Christmas).

That's cool. So far I've only got one person actually talking about coming to see it, supposedly today.

I kinda want to pull it, just to have it done and out of the way. On one hand it's nice to have in the truck so people can actually see it run, but on the other it'd be nice to have it ready to go out the door if someone wants it.

There's actually a good story about the guy buying it.

For quick context, I live in a town of about 2000 that's 20 miles from our shop that's in a community of just over 100,000.

It turns out the buyer grew up in the town where I live and he used to see the crew cab all the time walking to school. He graduated 6 years ago and moved out of our town. He said my truck helped contribute to his love of squarebodies!
