The SBC shields I am trying to use on my 454 are not correct.
I have modivied the SBC shields but would prefer to get the correct ones.
I have a 454 bolted to a SM465 w/old cast bell housing. The type were the starter botls to the bell not the block. My SBC used two shileds one is flat and goes inbetween the starter and bell. THe other one is a half moon that covers the bottom of the flywheel/clutch.
Looking for a used set in good shape or part #'s to see if a stealership can get them.... Maby a model chevy that came with a 454/SM465 in the years 72????
