Just picked up a 366td for my blazer, it came with 473328.....68-69...oval...OPEN...366T and I have 14092360...86-90...oval...OPEN...454 Truck, "peanut" round ports. As far as any #s have told me these are the same heads, I'm trying to find out which one has bigger valves if at all or if one has a smaller combustion chamber for compression or does the "peanut" heads simply flow better. I plan on gasket matching either set I use and the motor has an "rv" cam, what size exactly I don't know.. Any knowledge would be helpful.. thanks.

They may both be open chamber heads...but doubt they are identical.

What is the casting number on your block? It's probably a tall deck block, judging from the "T" you put after it I'm guessing you know this.

If I had to choose between the two sets of heads you have, I'd go for the peanut ports. They will make good torque at a low RPM, which is great for a truck. However, neither one of thoes is going to give outstanding performance.

I couldn't find anything on chamber size or valve size in any of my books, maybe 4X4 High will see this...he might have some info on them.

yes its a 366 tall deck, the stock heads are known to put tq at very low rpm so I was hoping the 454 heads would have a longer power band...
