I'm in the market for a 454. Need it to be complete with accessories on the front (alt, power steering, etc.). Also a runner would be preferred too. I'm open to all generations of BBC as long as it's in good running operation. I'm located outside of Boise, ID but may be willing to travel a bit for the right deal. Let me know if anyone has anything they want to get rid of.

Thanks!

You don't happen to make rounds near Boise on your routs do you?

That's funny, I was clicking in to this thread to say the same thing. Problem is, I kinda need it to move the crew cab down the road so I can't part with it.

How's your rig been running lately? Still happy with your BBC? Been a long time since I clicked on your build thread

I think it's been a long time since I posted anything in the build thread. It's been running fine. I definitely enjoy having the 454; makes driving in the mountains soooo much better.

I've got a complete disassembled 454 Vortec minus crankshaft which would make a great candidate for a stroker motor rebuild. I also have a 4L80E that needs rebuild also. The tailshaft is correct to hook up a 205, 208 or 241. I'm in central Kansas and asking $750 for all. Both the motor and tranny are 1999 year.

I actually have one also. Pulled out of a 78?K30 . From what I remember it was not the original engine. Pressure washed it and has been sitting in my garage for about 8 years. All complete, ran great when I pulled it but it has been sitting a while. I actually drove the truck home. Air cleaner to oil pan, fan to flywheel. $600.00

Some how I had a feeling you would have one. :pimp:

Does it have the accessories on the front too? (meaning at least the bracketry)

Please do, thank you

Looks like I removed the ps pump.... should have it somewhere. If I do it's included. Definitely have the fan. Prefix on front of block is CWL
Appears to be a 1972.

Hey Ron.... what's that clamp looking thing on the intake just behind the water neck outlet ??

don't think I have ever seen that on a BBC...:dunno:

Also...is that a 4 barrel intake ? or a Q-jet manifold with an adapter plate for the carb?

@Capt Ron

If your sale falls through....let me know on PM
I may be interested

The clamp thing was for some type of heat riser that went to air cleaner I think. It is definitely a 4 barrel manifold, not sure if it's an adapter or spacer. I will post up more pics on Monday.

Thanks everyone who posted on here. I just found a complete 97 L29 454 with 160k miles on it local to me last night for $650.
