46 inch tires and ifs?

Sorry, but there are better and cheaper ways to look at or be with girls. You just blew an absolute ton on suspension components, more on fuel, and even more on taking it to the alignment shop every single morning.

It's grossly illegal, IMHO ugly, and most certainly impractical.

its what the guy wanted to do...I didnt mean do it for the chicks..but it is a perk of havin a truck like that lol. I just kinda get the vibe that on this site if your vehicle isnt a cut up locked one-ton gear with a full cage and bedlined interior it isnt worth having. i was just sayin that not everyone has a lifted truck to offroad in it

this is my buddies truck with 12" lift and 40s on 20s. It now has 15" lift since these pics. You know the saying, chrome won't get ya home... but will sure as hell get ya laid... :D :D :D

I certainly don't see any mudflaps...

 Kinda hard to when the pic is from the front. As I said in a previous post, I see that truck quite often and it has had mudflaps on every time I've seen it.

i checked my other pics, no mudflaps at time of photo

I will say other than mudflaps..its fine

and how many people in hear are 100 percent by the book anyways?

things such as but not limmited to..

-really broke windshield
-exaust
-emissions equipment
-tags
-insurance
-tail lights
-working wipers

..besides two of these mentioned in the great state of az they are fix it tickets..fix it or send in a reciept saying you did. I have not heard of anyone recently getting popped for mudflaps, but 5-7 years ago I heard about it all the time. lifted trucks are a really really common sight here..most dont seem to have mudflaps.

I like not getting pulled over, but I also dont drink and drive and I dont plan on mud flaps anytime soon.

if I get a ticket, I buy them, copy the reciept and return them, every cop I have talked to has told me they do not have fix it tickets that have been fixed in a data base when they pull you over.

as for the truck, sorry to say I like it, and I would rather not see it off road. let the kid have his fun, and all the other suckers can hate him or be jealous.at least he does drive it:D

think of how many rigs on here only touch dirt on a blue moon

I love my 2wd cant go anywhere work truck..looks nice to me, rides better than stock, and why the heck would I want to wheel a 6 month old truck anyways?

bag on me if you want, but when I park it in front of the g/f's house I get a wave from her nieghbors..if I parked a smashed up rig, well you tell me..

I was joking, as I didn't realize how incredibly loose AZ's lift laws were. However, if you'd like to take it seriously, he had better not drive it into Nevada, Utah, California, or New Mexico.

My wheeling rigs weren't/aren't 100% by the book, but they're just that, wheeling rigs...and they were still one hell of a lot closer to being 100% by the book than that thing.

He can have his fun, so can the ricers with their 18" exhaust tips and stock Honda motors, but I'm still gonna roll my eyes and shake my head and call them idiots if they ask me what I think of their ride.

I still have absolutely no idea how that thing doesn't break tie rods at the mall or need alignments after every speed bump.

Not saying if it's not on locked 1-tons it's not hardcore, I'm saying I think it's flat out silly. It's a hopped up diesel longbed...how are you gonna tow anything, with a 30" drop hitch? How are you going to get anything into that 8' bed, a crane?

It just can't function as a truck anymore...period.

Some people dont buy trucks to tow. At least it isnt all blinged out.

Personally, I wouldnt have spent the money to do that, but if someone gave me that truck I'd drive it.

I think its funny how everyone bashes that truck. Mall crawler yes? Pick up the chicks...most def. It is a cool truck catches peoples eyes and prolly does what alot of college guys want it to do. I know my blazer will never be as extreme as alot of people's here, but dont hate on a truck that was obviously not made to go offroad. There is a guy here in town rockin like 52michelins on a 05-06 F-250. badass suspension setup and all, but it wont ever see anything offroad, but he has a 4 door and everytime you see him, its him and 4 other *fine* girls. I dunno bout ya'll but i wouldnt complain if i was in his position.

You must remember, most guys here have rigs that are first and foremost-functional, and with little bling.
So we look at that rig from that perspective.

Now to a layman's eye, yes it looks cool. But you get a bunch of real off-roaders, like the brothers here, and we're going to laugh at all the flaws it has in regards to a functional truck. Reality sometimes hurts.

And being an off-roader for almost thirty years, I would categorize that truck in the 'WTF/Stupid' category. That truck has difficulty just driving around town with those huge tires, let alone trying to deal with dirt!

Function over form, period.
