If I have a 32 spline output 465 a factory 465-203 adaptor and a 32 spline input 203, will it bolt together? Just trying to figure out what to do.

I could be off base here but, I think it's a little more complicated:
465-203=short factory adapter and output shaft=10 spline
465-208=long factory adapter and output shaft=32 spline
I have a 465-208 and am switching to a 203-205 doubler (ORD) and am changing the output shaft of the 465 to a short 32 spline that ORD carries and then I'll be able to run the short factory 465-203 adapter and a 32 spline input 203. (It's about to ship, I can't wait!:D)
A-HA! HERE WE GO!:
Okay, I looked again, here's their wording 'cause it makes sense and my rambling don't:: Use a SM465 that was originally mated to an NP208 transfer case. This 465 will have a 32 spline output shaft with a 8 3/8" adapter housing. You'll use a NP203 gearbox with a 32 spline input gear and the face of the 203 drilled and tapped with the GM round bolt pattern to match up to the factory 208 adapter housing. This works very well if you have the available length in the vehicle since the parts are commonly available and the 32 spline connection is very strong and durable. They actually give 3 configuration options. Linky: look at GM 465 http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/doubler.htm
Sorry, I'm trying to help ya but, it confused the heck outta me at first! :doah::D

Yah I read that. What the 465 I have is a factory 465-205 with the 32 spline, its an 86 one ton truck. I just don't know if the "stick out" would be close enough or the same to be able to mate it to a 203 (with the factory 203 adaptor) and an 203 that came out of a turbo 400.

Will actaully have to pull the transmission out of a truck so measuring it really isn't an option.

Also depends on if he can find a 465-203 adaptor and 10 spline 203 for a half decent price

The tailshaft on a factory 32 spline 465 is too long to use the 203 adapter. You have to either buy the short 32 spline ORD shaft or redrill the 203 and use the 208 adapter.
