Gotta go to the autoparts this morning and was gonna go ahead and pick up some new oil to put in my 465/205 I'm swapping in. how much oil does each hold and what is the best weight to run?

I believe they both take 80w-90. I think my 205 only takes about 2qts and the trans probably takes 3qts(trying to remember how much my sm420 took for comparison. I would buy 6qts just to be sure, but you probably went hours ago anyway, right?:D

yeah, I went ahead and bought a bunch of 85-140w and some Lucas. Do I just need to fill it up to the side port/fill hole, like one would do a differential?

85w-140 should be fine. Fill trans to bottom of the side fill hole. OLD instructions on 205 were bottom of fill hole, but I remember seeing updated instructions to stop 1" below fill hole. Your choice.
