I am gathering up all the parts I needed to build a ORD doubler set up for a new project. After going to ORDs web page and looking at there options I decided to go with 465 that had a 208 on it my proplem is I have 2 465s with the same adapter but one has the out put sticking out of the factory adapter about 1" the other one has it recessed. Neather one of them came with a transfer case . so witch one is right and and what case was on the other one. Thanks for the help.

I have a 32 spline 465 with a 241 adapter on it and the tailshaft is more or less even with the t-case face of the adapter. My understanding is that the 241 and 208 adapters are interchangable so I'd think yours should be similar.
Can you post pics? That would help some. Also, do both 465's have the same spline count? What's the count? Should be 32 spline on a 208 application.
