i took my shifter off and when i put it back nothing no gears i know this should be easy fix but it no workie /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Did you have it in neutral when you pulled it out? Maybe it's just not lined up properly

wouldnt be able to put in neutral anyways if was jammed, its no fun sometimes unlocking it

Grab a flashlight so you can see down the shifter tower on the tranny. All the shift rail slots must be lined up in the center to put the shifter back in. If one is off try and persuade it to the neutral spot with a large screwdriver.

Yep that's how you do it. Usually not too bad to get the shift rails to move in there with a screwdriver.
