Just mounted a SM465. I'm guessing I need a different x-member than the TH700 uses or I have to fab mine own? ??

Depends on the year of the tranny/t-case combo.

What year is your rig?

What year is the tranny/t-case combo that you're installing out of?

Can you take pics of the 465 with the t-case adaptor?

Pretty sure tranny is 86'. Gonna possibly go with a drop box down the line so I'm gonna hold off on the 205. Frame is an 88'.

Pics can happen...

Thanks guy

'86 tranny should mate to the '88 frame/crossmember just fine. Shouldn't be any problems there.

Unless the tranny is an '84 or older, then you need a different crossmember.

Pics will help more than anything else.

That tranny in the pic is a 1984 on down part. It has the tall figure eight adapter that was used up to 1984.
Get an older crossmember and all should be well ( drilling new holes might be needed since the 1985 on up stuff was longer and set the crossmember back farther than the early stuff).

Yep, what Tom said....

You need the flat crossmember. Not the double or single hump style. Any flat crossmember from '84 on back down will work.

Do NOT use any K30 crossmember. They are too flat for a Blazer frame. Make sure you find a K5, 10 or 20 member.
