So I have this motor my buddy and I put together, or I should say its a motor he put together with my money and labor! It was in my 74' Blazer, but I pulled it out and sold the blazer. I was thinking about keeping the motor and when I have some credit cards payed off putting it in an older car. But I figured I would post it on here and see if there was any interest.

Specs...Built 496 big block Chevy with rectangular port aluminum bowtie heads from the old MacPherson trophy truck. Has Inconel valves, custom forged JE pistons, SCAT forged stroked crank, Callies H beam rods, a custom ground mechanical roller cam with 238/248 duration and .714/.714 lift. Scorpion roller rockers, Crowed pin oiled roller lifters, Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, BG Speed Demon Carb, ARP bolts and studs throughout, Cloyes hex adjust timing set. Has an aluminum timing cover, 8 quart oil pan, Height ignition, Taylor plug wires, Headman ultra elite headers, and a hand fabbed exhaust and Flowmaster muffler. Pardon the spelling on some of the stuff.

Its putting out approximately 600-650 HP on regular pump gas and it has never knocked and pinged. It was running great when I pulled it out a few months ago and has been sitting in my buddies shop all wrapped up. I do not have any pictures at the moment how it sits, but I have some from when it was in the blazer if anyone is actually interested. I even have a video of it running.

I have tons of money into it but I know I will never get what I put in, so I would like to sell it for about $6000. Makes me sick to sell it, but then again, I would love to drop this thing into an older hot rod.
