4bt conversion

I've read much about this but have need seen any good tech articles about the swap into a k5. Basicly you take a 4bt desiel out from a bread van truck that has a th400 in it. From what I've read it would be a bolt in. My man concern would be the engine mounts... is it really a bolt in? also then the gearing would need to be figured out.

You pretty much have it covered:

The motor mounts are significantly different, you will probably have to make your own.

They often had GM TH400's behind them (especially in bread vans) so that makes the motor/trans mounting easy.

Gas and diesel motors need different gearing, it all depends on the rig, trans and tire size.
