4L60e Issue

1977 K10 4x4 , LM7/4L60e/ NP241c ..Received a call from my tuner..The transmission was acting really odd. It would go for a bit then go into neutral and not move forward or back. Topped fluid off before tuning. Not sure if we have a sensor miscommunication or what. Going to scan it today and see if I can come up with some idea…Anyone ever had this issue ..

I saw this thread earlier but wanted to wait a minute.

What ecm are you running? Assume it’s a stock used trans?

Yes sir on both questions..I’m a noob but to me sounds like it went into limp mode

My guess would to check fluid pressures to make sure pump is working since you have no forward or reverse movement.

This, I’m sure you check the fluid level warm? If the fluid shows good and it still won’t move the trans should function if it isn’t destroyed.

I sure hope it’s not the transmission..I drove the original donor truck before I pulled everything for my K10

That’s a good sign, did you pull them apart or remove the converter?

No sir I did not seoerate then
