4L60E to TH350 SWAP

Had an Idea the other day with my 2005 chevy Silverado 1500 that has a 4L60E in it.

while it i still shifting and running fine. When the tranny does go, I was thinking about swapping in the built TH350 I have
What would I need to make it work?

I am not 10% sure,but I think a 4x4 TH 350 is different length than a 4L60E (which is a 700r4 with electrical shifting controlled by an ECM)...you can use a 2wd TH350 with a 6" tailshaft by removing the tail shaft housing and buying a spacer,that will make its overall length the same as the 700r/4L60E--I think they both bolt up the same at the transfer case...I'm sure someone else with more knowledge on later GM's than me will be able to determine if my response is correct or not..

Its already a 2wd transmission..not sure the length though
