Has anyone installed one? I used the one from advance adapters (pn - 50-0405e). I have the engine and transmission installed and the transmission has the adapter on it to mount to the trans mount on the crossmember. Do I remove the adapter that is on, install the advance adapter, then mount the existing (off original truck) adapter with the transfer case attached to the one from advance adapters?

I have room to go, I think, but it seems like adding the advance adapter will push the engine forward another inch or two. If anyone has a picture they could share I would appreciate it. Google search hasn't returned much to go off of.

Yes but, due to packaging, my copy was pretty tore up. That picture shows the location on the trans which clears that up for me but I was hesitant to push the engine even further forward due to lack of experience. So, since this is something I have never done before, I wanted to be sure of the order of putting it all back together before I jacked something completely up. Thanks for the link.

You did better than me, I usually lose the directions in all the excitement of opening new toys :D

I got the parts so far in advance that I've gone through them all multiple times. Just to lay them out like putting xmas presents on display for when family comes over. But the excitement did play a role destroying the directions. They were packaged to well and I cut to deep with the box opener not realizing so they ended up like a paper snowflake.

if you have a 4x4 trans with stock adaptor you might just need to egg a hole or 2 and bolt it on with all stock . since they still do a round bolt pattern to t-case.

just make sure you don't bottom out the output tail in to the t-case input and have a gap and try and bolt it down and break something .
