Got a 1995 burb with a 4l80e. if the fuse is replaced, all gauges work great, but as soon as the shift lever is moved out of park, the fuse blows. After reading up on it quite some but, the ignition switch has been replaced. Also, with the truck running and in gear, there is over 100ohms between the fuse panel and ground. Seems like that shouldnt be enough to blow the fuse, especially when i think i read the solenoids are 30 ohms, but just thought i would throw it out there.
How do you unplug the big round connector on the transmission? I was going to unplug it and try it again. At least i could then know if its in the transmission, or in the harness leading up to it.
EDIT: got it unplugged and it stopped blowing the fuse. Gunna get new solenoids and replace the in trans wiring.
