I would like some help on doing a conversion of a 4L80E in to my 85 chevy k-10 but i dont have the comp for the tranny and it came out of a 91 k3500 with the 6.2. what if i put a full man. shift kit in to it will i need the comp

Yes, as long as you swap over to a manual lockup converter it will work without the computer.

The only Full Manual Valve Body that I am aware of is built by a guy name Stoney and is very pricy. Do you know of another for the 4L80E?

Actually, I just remembered that TransGo makes a Full Manual Kit for the 4L80E that is about $250.00 and there are about seven different aftermarket computers available from $800 to $1200. I think the best are the CompuShift ($1200) and the TCI ($900) and I would stay away from the Jet unit. The one that Stoney makes is the only Reverse Manual Valve Body I know of.
