4L80E newb help

all right read alot on here but need some help understanding it i have a 500cid caddy with 700r4 with 203/205 doubler i just got my hands on a 4l80e with harnes and tcm but it was out of a 02 express van with a 350 in it i wan to replace my 700r4 with it and was just wondering if anyone out there could help me out with a list of parts i will need to do so now my doubler has the 32 spline input so they should match once i get the shaft for the 4x4 model wut does anyone know about using a adaptor and redrilling it to match the 203 any help would be great thanks

you need the th400 style of the 203 not the 700r4 style. Doesn't the computer control that trans that year? or just the TCM and no 411 pcm input?

i have the 400 style 203 bolted up and ready to swap i dont know if i can find a tcm for the diesel motors in order to run this trans or if im going to have to go aftermarket which will be exspensive thats why im asking for help got all of this for free and wanting it to work

sell the tranny computer and wire harnness and buy this for better plug and play . http://www.optishift.com/index.shtml 500 for the unit and 150 harnness and around 100 for tps sensor kit and bracket.

there controler is cheeper than tci and others and is much more user friendly. read up and look around there site for good info on it. i want one for when i finish my truck next year.
