Can you put a 4L80E or a TH400 transmission on a 1989 1/2 ton suburban?

Yep...the TH400 would be easy to adapt, while the 4L80-E would require a stand-alone ECU, as the 4L80-E is electric...The bellhousing bolt pattern is the same on both...I'm not to sure on t-cases and adapters though...
