Any help appreciated newbie here. I've searched and read but can't find exactly the same problem I'm experiencing. I got a 85 suburban with a 2002 6.0, 4l80e/241 combo. Truck was doing fine then went into lymph mode. Found fluid inside the electrical plug so changed the internal harness and all solenoids while in there. Fluid looked good. Trans working again, then it started again. One day it shifts fine, next day acts like stuck in 3. No upshift or down. Then next day working fine again.Been checking ground wires and haven't found any. One other problem is the truck recently started flooding upon startup. It don't do it every time but is happening more often. Took to a shop and scanned it ,showed no codes and was obviously shifting fine when I went there. Got me puzzled and to where I don't trust it and this is a truck we'll drive up to 2-3 hours away to go camping. Any help appreciated. Could it possibly be a tps sensor going bad? I'm leaning towards electrical but that's not my where I'm heavily experienced. If I had a trustworthy shop nearby I wouldn't mind taking it but most around here just keep throwing parts at it till they may or may not fix it.
