Hey guys!

I'm putting a 4l80e into my truck, I already know about the controller stuff, but I haven't yet figured out how I am going to hook the torque converter up. I know that the stock 80e converters have 6 bolts holding it to the flexplate. I just recently bought an SFI flexplate for my truck after the old one cracked the whole way around, and I don't really want to buy a new flexplate. Is there a torque converter out there that has a standard 3 bolt connector on the back (such as a TH400) but will slide onto the front of the tranny, and have the lockup in it?

You can drill additional holes in the flexplate or just run 3 bolts if they line up. There are plenty of 1000+HP race cars with only 3 bolts holding the converter so you will be fine.
