4L80E swap

I moved the engine forward on my 72. Left the tcase in the stock position. Everything fit perfect.
Do you have any resources or information on how to move the engine forward. I've got an 89 350, looking to move forward for the 4l80 swap.

He put an LS engine in, those have plenty of aftermarket engine mounts that can give you many options for the engine location.
On a regular small block you have to fabricate something

Thanks for the reply, and yeah I saw that in his photos. Hopefully someone here has done it with a SBC, not sure if that's the route I would go, but very interested in it.

I am guessing you want to avoid dealing with different length driveshafts but it might be easier to just do it that way.
Moving the engine means you're closer to the radiator which means more changes and more money.
Chances are your driveshafts are old and could use an update, and it's only a little more to get them the right length

72 and back had a couple different motor mount locations since they had to put big blocks and small blocks in different locations. Those guys get to just bolt the engine in a couple different positions. Squares have fewer choices. In general, with a square you move the T-case back and re-do driveshafts.
