Would you consider making this adapter ?

I can furnish the 4l80/205 adapter for measurements.

just redrill the 203 for the round 6 adaptor and use the 4wd tail shaft.

i used a 4l80e to 241 adaptor with my setup. was fairly easy.

if you were a paid member there is a full write up with lots and lots of pics in our tech writeup section i did.

and in the garage section we have a huge thread on 4l80 to 205 info with lots of tech info and pics.

shows full reman of 203 range box and 205 and ord tripple stick shifter with adaptor.

that 4l80-e to 205 adaptor is worth a lot by its self.

If you ask nicely the ORD guys will probably even send you a template for drilling your 203 case. They can also do that for you.

I did the same thing when I put a 203/205 behind my NV4500.

he has the adaptr and the factory 1991 4l80e and 205,he's just trying o see if ord would be interested in building them for those that dont have them and want to put them in....
i have the same set up as above for my 1991 sub and would like to put a 4l80e 205 i my crewcab and i'm missing the adapter

sweetk30 great write up:thumb:

Trail Tech Fab will make you a 4L80E to NP205 adapter for $295 shipped. It comes ready to weld together so you can clock it to suit you needs.

If you still have the adapter, would you be willing to part with it for a little while. I've been wanting to make one for myself and it would be a hell of alot easier if I had one to copy.

Its in a truck now.

I got tired of trying to pay someone to make something but instead being told how to adapt & modify other stuff to fit.
