The only way I can think of is if you get a divorced Tcase or if you make a special adapter to mate your 203 to the 4l80e, the shafts should work it's just the adapter that will need attention, and oh, the 4l80e will need a controler either aftermarket or from a 90-93 diesel truck.
When I saw the title, I thought Oh man what is this guy thinking, first he want to put a th350 instead of the 400, and now he wants to put a th400 instead of the 4l80e.
i am almost ready to do a fixed yoke 4l80-e to 203 rangebox in my project. all parts are basicly in hand. just need to dig out tranny from storage and pull tail housing and slide on 203 range box and see how much i need for spacer.
and i am using a 4l80-e 4x4 adaptor to 241 tcase to bolt it to the 203 range box. and i will be redrilling the pattern on the face.
