Need a 4l80E transmission. Preferably a 4x4 unit, but 2wd would be acceptable as well. In mild need of a rebuild is acceptable, but do not want something thats blown the hell up.

I have the one that i took the adapter off of. It wouldn't be cheap to ship though. It had 30,000 miles on it, but the truck had a cab fire. It burnt the wiring and a couple plugs on the trans but never discolored the case. It's been setting for about ten years now, so it's in need of a rebuild. It came out of a 1991 3/4t 4x4 truck. Here's a pic of the one i have. I wanted to let you know it has a broke piece. It's on the lower right side where you see the red circle. It has wires attached to it on the inside, but i'm not sure what it is. It must have gotten broke one of the times i've moved it. Looks like it clips in. Also sending PM with shipping quote. Where were you guys when I needed a core for mine guess ya know what the core charge is for one of this things?:doah:

im not for sure but i think thats what i found when i was lookin into gettin a reman from work.

Well it's not often, but I do find deals fom time to time for $350-500 for good running 4l80E's here.
I never wanted one so inever got one but my buddy already has 2 that he paid $350 each for complete with the computer and wiring :rolleyes:
 
yo did you get my pm to you? :confused: i have a friend with 2 in stock with computers he said both were running when pulled from dead body trucks. all good to go.
 
I had no idea that these trannys were that expensive. Might hold onto my combo now. Thanks for all the replies.
