Ok, I need some recommendations for some online transmission dealers.

I'm either going to by a new 4L80e or a reman.

Don't mean to highjack but who makes controllers for a 4l80?

Have you checked jegs. If you already have one they sell tci's that will bolt in 93 1/2-96 then 96 up.

Also search pheniox trans(not spelled right I'm sure but google should pull it up). They're out of weatherford texas. Small company but good quality.

This is going in a factory equipped 91 suburban that came with a 4L80e so there is no need for a stand alone computer.

O ok then I would sugest phoenix. I don't know the difference between the early models and the 93 1/2 and up but jegs only offers the laters.

Well I just look at the Monster SS 4L80e and under warranty it says NONE. At $2995.00 I would want a built proof warranty for at least 24 months.
