Am I going to need a differant flywheel..or flexplate?
Thank you
Rich

You are. The pressure plate will have to some off and the flywheel will have to go on. Should be a snap. Junkyards have tons of them. Get the bolts that hold it onto the crank too. They are shorter for the automatic setup.

I think he meant the flywheel and pressure plate is what you take off and put on a Flexplate....With the shorter crank bolts /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

now I'm really confused /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gifI need to take off the pressure plate and flywheel,then I need to put on a differant flywheel and a flex plate?is this right?

You take off the pressure plate and flywheel and install a flexplate for a manual to auto swap..The flex plates have shorter crank bolts.. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

Flexplate = automatic tranny
Flywheel = Manual tranny
